SummaryThe General Superintendent, Logistics will manage the various project team members as it relates to their craft. Establish standards, training, leadership training for the construction team and department. This position reports to the Director of Operations, or another management personnel that the President may designate. This position is in Irvine, CA. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend hours as required. This position is expected to travel up to 75% of the time.
Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in Irvine, CA is $130,000- $160,000 base salary per year.
The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the logistics superintendents and their craft across multiple projects, ensuring effective coordination and execution of logistics plans.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to facilitate logistics coordination and material tracking across multiple projects, including tooling.
- Provide coaching and development for logistics superintendents, enhancing their skills and capabilities.
- Implement training programs for team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Assist in developing detailed schedules for all logistic and offload activities
- Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, project logistics, and temporary facility plans with the project manager and field staff
- Review and approve materials/equipment for logistic activities monitoring startup and progress of those activities, resolving any conflicts prior to starting work
- Prepare reports and communicate progress to Project Managers/Directors as needed
- Review contract documents and make improvement suggestions as needed
- Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results
- Provide cost estimation
- Identify and project costs related to time, materials, equipment, and labor
- Track actual costs and assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services
- Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, revenues, and project timeline
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by the Field Operations Manager
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

- 7 years experience in logisticsoperations
- Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects
- Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors
- Minimum of 2 years of solar PV experience
- Industrial relations knowledge for recognizing and resolving potential labor issues

- Construction safety awareness and comprehension
