QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer, ICM App Lead to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics – Army (PM IS&A) .
The ICM (Information Collection Management) Lead Role is responsible for directing programmatic and technical work through the acquisition and deployment of the ICM Application.
Duties

• Collaborate with a team of Engineers, Test and Quality Support Personnel, provide Contract Support, and work closely with the Product Lead to successfully complete key milestones (e.g., Test-Fix-Test Model) of application procurement of Commercially Available Software.
• Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule, Key Milestones, and Stakeholder (ICM Vendor, ACM-F, ATEC, PM Leadership) Engagements, while conveying risks and Project Status to senior leadership within the PM.
• Responsible for working closely with the ICM Vendor, to help guide them through key acquisition milestones while providing analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members.
• Responsible for the handling of acquisition sensitive activities and information which includes detailed knowledge of the Commercial Software.

Required Skills & Experience

• Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Direct experience working with complex software systems performing requirements decomposition, managing requirements, reviewing software design, and tracking software development, integration, and testing.
• Direct experience with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance software systems.
• Direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.
• Direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
• An acquisition background is highly desired.

Required Clearance

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, System, Software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least fifteen (15) years related work experience is required.
• Master’s degree and twelve (12) or more years related experience may also qualify.

TravelLess than 10 % travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work EnvironmentThis position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.
