Position OverviewQinetiQ US has an immediate opportunity for a security specialist
The company is looking for a security specialist with exceptional work ethic, ability to work in a team enviornment, demonstrated strong initiative, ability to provide verbal/written communication skills, as well as demonstrated successful engagement and collaboration with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and other DoD agnecies.
Responsibilities

• Active participation with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies as required.
• Provide support to Program managers, Human Resources, Recruiting, Contracts basic security information as it relates to the business operations.
• Familiar with DOD clearance processing requirements, SEAD4 and the 13 adjudicative standards, and management of personnel security clearances and associated investigation requirements.
• Process classified visit requests and certifications.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining all facilities (and personnel) for audits and inspections.
• Issue and conduct security training as required
• Assist in the conduct of administrative inquiries and investigations of non-compliance.
• Maintain all applicable security databases (e.g. DISS, NBIS, NISS, ACCS, etc.)
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active US Top Secret clearance
• 1-3 years of increasing security responsibilities
• Knowledge of various DoD customer workflows
• Understanding of security manuals, directives, and Executive Orders; to include NISPOM Rule
• Must be experienced with USG Information Systems (NISS/DISS/NBIS/eAPP) and legacy systems when appropriate.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance clearance
• Knowledge of security processing procedures within Intelligence, Defense, Homeland, and other customers in the National Capitol Region (NCR).
• Active membership in NCMS, ASIS, or other security professionalization organization.
• Familiarity with Sign On Compliance (Threat Switch)
