The Product Marketing Director Role
In this strategic role, you will participate in Qlik's marketing and product strategy, define and manage go-to-market plans, and generate marketing and sales tools to drive demand and adoption of Qlik Data Integration Platform. You'll be part of a dynamic team marketing the fastest-growing product in the data integration market for the last two years according to Gartner.
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities to drive revenue and market share for our products. You will craft powerful messaging and product positioning. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. You will be an expert in the target market and provide transfer and tools to enable both the direct sales team and business partners. You'll also be the product champion and evangelist internally and externally.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:

• Develop product positioning, messaging and content that differentiates our products.
• Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.
• Market intelligence - be the expert on potential buyers; be the expert on the competition and how to crush them.
• Demand generation - contribute to the strategy development and content for programs that drive demand for our products.
• Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

We're looking for a teammate with:

• At least 5 years of experience in product marketing role for enterprise software.
• Solid understanding of one or more of the following technologies and markets:
  • data integration or enterprise application integration
  • ELT & CDC
  • ETL & other data integration disciplines
  • data warehouse/lakes,
  • data streaming,
  • business intelligence markets.
• Excellent creative writing and communication skills with at least 5 years of experience creating marketing and sales tools such as whitepapers, presentations, articles, competitive profiles, etc.
• Great presentation skills
• Willingness to travel (10-20%).
• Domain expertise in Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Integration, and Data Quality

• Experience working at a leading data management, data integration, or BI company, such as Informatica or Fivetran.
• At least 3 years of experience successfully launching new products/services.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and creative thinker.
• Master's Degree Preferred

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 - 180,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
