JOB SUMMARY
As a Vice President of Contractor Success with Qmerit, the primary focus will be supporting the Certified solutions providers (CSP) and Company Owned Locations (COL), managing these contractors to increased profitability utilizing the Qmerit platform. This includes working with the entire Qmerit team to deliver installations, marketing, and manpower, as well as assistance with the contractor’s capabilities to serve Qmerit customers. Additionally, the role will support the contractors with best practices and efficiencies, as well as product training from the entire network.
Each contractor location and corporate project will be unique, requiring the need for an individual who enjoys challenges and can manage change - at times this will include managing resistance to change with political savvy and an ombudsman-like attitude. To succeed, this position will require a highly consultative advisor to drive policies, processes, plans, technical skills, or service capabilities to be managed. The position will require execution, and relationship management skills – ability to have presence with all you encounter is required. The role will require interaction with executive management as well as all staff at Qmerit, as well as the companies we work with, including the subordinate roles within the companies. The Vice President will develop long-term relationships with contractors and ensure successful growth and training.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem-solver, organized, has strong interpersonal relationship skills, and is detail-oriented. The role will be critical to helping companies take advantage of the electrification movement as part of a strategy of profitable growth, enabling electrical service contractors to develop talent and delivery capabilities to capture electrification, service/project market share..
This position shall incorporate the Values of Qmerit, and the Vision and Business Strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of the Vice president of contractor success is to ensure all CSP’s and COL’s are onboarded correctly and have a clear understanding of how to use their CSP benefits to help grow their business. The Vice president of contractor success will coordinate meetings with support organizations within Qmerit. The Vice president of contractor success will work closely with the VP of Contractor Services and Contractor Sales to ensure CSP’s and COL’s have a world-class support experience. 
  • Coordination of new Certified Solutions Providers’ (CSPs) program orientation and implementation.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with CSP and Qmerit support leaders.
  • Help CSP’s meet compliance, onboarding, and financial requirements.
  • Be the CSP’s and COL’s POC to help with all service-related support.
  • Work closely with the Qmerit operations teams to ensure CSP’s and COL’s are properly set up to maximize their installation opportunities. 
  • Provide reporting on CSP and COL onboarding progress and outstanding issues.
  • Document CSP and COL conversations and deliverables.
  • Direct the CSP’s and COL’s to grow their revenue, gross profit, and net income.
  • Develop strategy and operational plans to support electrification services/projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive trades and contractor relationship management experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite and P&L experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Effectively multi-task in a high-volume environment
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of professionalism
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in customer service and account management
  • Experience in electrical, field service
  • Electrical knowledge both in residential and commercial a plus
  • Job will require 25% travel

  • Delivery of projects on time / cost / scope / quality.
  • Initiative in seeking ways to contribute to the success of the company that go beyond a narrow definition of executing a project.

MEASUREMENTS
  • The primary role will be evaluated by the CEO and executive leadership team, additional KPI’s will be used to judge overall performance. Other contributions will be evaluated by the CEO and will include management of key strategic initiatives to support Qmerit’s long-term profitable growth. Measurements will include metrics tied to both organic and acquired growth.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Domestic travel will be required, estimate 50% travel mostly in the US and Canada.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
  • The employee must be available during the core work hours Monday through Friday forty-hour work week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relative experience in Electric, Field Trade Service, Emergency Power Generation.
COMPENSATION
  • $100-125k plus Bonus
