What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash Management Specialist -MS position at QNBT?
The Cash Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the Director of Cash Management Sales by managing the application process, meeting the servicing needs, and maintaining relationships of Queensborough’s merchant services customers throughout the entire bank footprint.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Director of Cash Management Sales and merchant services processing provider to onboard a new customer
- Enters requests for pricing quotes and creates proposals to be presented by the Cash management Director at customer meetings
- Completes and processes the required application documentation to ensure accurate files for customers and our merchant services provider are submitted
- Coordinates timing of terminal or gateway installations with the customer
- Physically installs equipment or attends the trainings onsite when necessary
- Provides superior customer service after the sale including, but not limited to transaction reconciliation, terminal support, expansion of processing methods, etc., to solidify retention efforts
- Provides timely updates to branch personnel regarding the status of referrals
- Participates in strategic planning activities to boost referrals and drive business
- Travel, when necessary (which may include overnight), for business development, training and installation of equipment
- Works on special projects as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year banking or related experience required
- Excellent verbal and customer service skills required
- Professional communication skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
