SUMMARY:
The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing and managing labor and material vendors nationwide. The successful candidate must be cheerful and proactive in sourcing vendors in current and new geographic regions across multiple trades. The Vendor Coordinator must be a motivated, self-started professional and ready to take their career to the next level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree on any related field or three (3 ) years of experience in sourcing and vendor management or a combination of both. Demonstrated experience and skills in vendor management software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
