Position Title: Electrical Technician/Panel Builder
Wage: $20-$30/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm (2nd option, flexible)
QPS Employment Group is hiring an Electrical Technician/Panel Builder for a company in Muskego, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Electrical Technician/Panel Builder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct electrical assembly by mounting equipment on sub-panels, positioning parts in panels, inserting in boxes, soldering, and crimping wires, routing and completing machine wiring
- Complete assigned jobs in a safe and timely manner in accordance with work order instructions, assembly drawings and schematics, meeting industry, customer and production standards and expectations
- Perform point-to-point continuity tests of all wiring and tests performance of all products prior to
shipment, when applicable
- Assemble machine wiring to include bending and securing conduit to mechanical structures
- Perform on-site electrical assembly tasks at customer locations as required
- Perform mechanical tasks to include drilling, sawing, and grinding
- Maintain a well-organized and clean work area following lean principles of 5S
- Notify management of product discrepancies, standard product inventory shortages, equipment
malfunction or misapplication
- Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations
- Participate in additional activities contributing to the overall goals of the company as the opportunities
arise
