Wage : $24.80 - $31.00 / hour ($1.50 / hour Shift Premium)

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities :

• Maintain machinery and equipment, performing necessary repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Understand and follow lock-out / tag-out procedures to ensure safety during maintenance activities
• Utilize current electronic maintenance program for tracking and reporting maintenance tasks
• Participate in special projects, including building new equipment, revamping existing machinery, assisting with new equipment installations, and relocating existing equipment
• Assist in maintaining buildings and grounds as required by the Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements for Maintenance Technician :

• Mechanical skills and basic knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Basic electrical knowledge and skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software
• Proficient in basic math and ability to read a tape measure to 1 / 16"
• Ability to read, write, and understand fractions to 1 / 16"
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, bend and reach throughout shift
• In-house forklift trained and certified
