QPS Employment Group is Hiring a Material handler Near Ixonia, WI
Position Title : Material Handler
Wage : $19.50-$22.50 / hour
Shift : 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Hours : 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Operate forklift to supply lines with necessary food supplies prior to packaging or final finished packaged food goods to be shipped
- Perform daily truck / trailer inspections to ensure equipment is safe and working condition
- Monitor production lines and supply packaging items as needed with use of forklift, after certification
- Return unused packaging materials post-production to warehouse by performing physical inventory and scanning to the appropriate locations using RF guns
- Label and store materials and supplies within the warehouse and trailers according to part number / description
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages; document as necessary
Material Handler Requirements :
- Lift up to 70lbs occasionally throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Sit for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Bend, crouch, kneel, and lift throughout shift (8-10 hours)
- Basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Follow written and verbal directions
- Forklift experience
