They do an extensive training period on 1st Shift to ensure your confidence in the position once you transition on your own to one of the off shifts.

Mold and Bladder Responsibilities :

• Change bladders and molds, program tire recipes in to the press computer and coordinate mold changes and bladder changes with curing lead
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Operate machinery and equipment
• Check upon the curing press parameters such as temperature, curing time, etc.
• Operate cranes, forklift and boom truck
• Operate dry ice blasting unit
• Keep inventory of items needed to maintain production (gasket, O-ring, bladder, bolts, mold bolts, lubricants and tools)

Requirements for Mold and Bladder :

• Proven track record of several years of solid work history
• High manual dexterity and problem-solving ability
• Hands-on approach / mechanically inclined
• Good communications skills
• Good physical condition (occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.)
• Detail orientated and quality minded
• Work well in a team environment
