Position Title : Production Worker – 1st Shift

Wage : $18.54 per hour

Shift : 1st

Hours : 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Production Worker opportunity at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Production Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Responsible for loading and unloading materials.
• Assist with moving products with forklift within the plant.
• Assist with welding tanks / products.
• Working / standing at a machine for an entire shift.
• Use hands, arms, and core body for moving various products.
• Remove product from machine using hands, arms, and core to push / pull product on production line.
• Observe machine operation for any defects or malfunctions in products while adjusting machines as needed.
• After being trained, operate hoist to move raw materials or tanks.
• Manual handling of raw materials and tanks.
• Stack finished tanks on pallets for shipment. Inspect finished product.
• Place materials on / off lines and palletize.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Must be able to read forms and understand what product is needed for lines.
• Operate forklift to load / unload trucks based on the orders.
• Responsible for making sure the picked orders transferred correctly as requested by supervisor.

Production Worker Requirements :

• Must be able to stand for a duration of 8–12-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Must be able to twist on a repetitive basis.
• Must be able to work in a hot environment.
• Must be able to work in a loud environment.
• Previous experience preferred.
• A high degree of attention to detail is required.
• Must be able to pass QPS' screening policy.
• Must be able to take direction from leadership.
