DescriptionLeidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Payroll & Service Contract Act Analyst.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure payroll processing and Service Contract Act administration, audit, issue research and resolution is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with standing up a Service Contract Act function
  • Assist with the implementation, improvements, or changes of procedures and/or systems to increase efficiency and improve the existing payroll processes
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting of payroll to the general ledger; assist with external and internal payroll and Service Contract Act audits
  • Responsible for payroll and Service Contract Act reporting and analytics
  • Provide training and resources regarding payroll and Service Contract Act processes
  • Provide payroll and Service Contract Act support as needed (e.g., processing bi-weekly multi-state payroll, quarterly and annual bonus payments, audits, garnishments, etc.)
  • Assist with year-end operational close including reconciliation, distribution of W2’s and tax filing compliance
  • Responsible for payroll and time & attendance system enhancements and testing to ensure functionality
  • Assist with documenting the processes associated with payroll and Service Contract Act compliance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Competencies:
  • Practical experience and knowledge in administering payroll and Service Contract Act compliance
  • Advanced knowledge of Federal, state and location payroll, Service Contract Act and tax regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Advanced skills with MS Office products, especially Excel
  • High ability to perform under pressure and within deadlines
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Business Management, Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent work experience/combined education
  • Minimum 4 years of payroll and/or Service Contract Act experience required
  • Experience with Ultimate Software payroll and Kronos Workforce Central or Dimensions preferred
  • Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred
Pay and Benefits:Salary range (level 3) $78,000 - $100,000
  • Other levels may be considered, qualifications for each level are as follows:
(Level 2) - Minimum of 2 years of experience: $61,000 - $78,000
