QTEC Aerospace is seeking a SR. INTEGRATION ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.

Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidate will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Integrate test suites in development lab
• Assist software development personnel with investigating and resolving issues
• Develop configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems
• Create and modify scripts to perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data
• Troubleshoot test and prototype issues
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents
• Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents as necessary
• Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts
• Represent the Integration team

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 9 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience
• Other degrees considered with strong software testing/engineering/integration experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Extremely proficient in Linux and scripting (bash, python)
• High-level understanding of automation and implementation
• Highly proficient in troubleshooting methods
• Working knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing
• Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment
• Familiarity with virtualized systems and security design and implementation
• Previous experience as a SW Tester/Integrator
• Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
• Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience developing scripts in Ansible
• Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments
• Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting
• Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining databases
• Top Secret clearance

Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.

Salary Range

$165,000 - $224,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
