Biotech Financial Analyst (Remote)

A biotech company located in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst, specifically with at least several years of recent Biotech and/or Pharma industry experience. Qualified candidates are required to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field along with several years of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Biotech Financial Analyst

• Leading the monthly management reporting process
• Variance analysis
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends
• Cash flow analysis
• Track project activities
• Assist with managing project budgets and forecasts
• Identify process improvements
• Ad-hoc analysis
• Other financial related functions

Requirements of the Biotech Financial Analyst

• 3-4 plus years of recent financial analysis experience specifically out of a Biotech/Pharma industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Adaptive Planning System experience is required
• Ability to work remotely from a home office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

Assignment: Contract to Hire

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Pay Range: $40hr-$45hr

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
