What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT-Scrum Master 4 position at Quadax?
Quadax is seeking a Senior-level Scrum Master to provide Agile leadership to our software development teams.
ONLY open to candidates living in: OH, PA, MI, IN, KY, WV, TN, GA, FL, TX, MO, WI, MN, NE, SD, SC, or NC. Visa sponsorship not available.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
• Coordinate the development team’s efforts throughout the lifecycle.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project completion.
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
• Drive the adoption and enforcement of basic Scrum principles.
• Adapt basic, core Agile methodologies, practices, and processes to meld into the Quadax culture, workforce, and processes.
• Align resources on other teams, such as product management, quality assurance, and server support.
• Master Agile and Scrum principles and apply them to the development team’s workflow.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with team members.
• Present status to Directors and communicate concisely with executives.
• Use a variety of Agile metrics to help monitor progress on projects and roadmaps, code quality, and business value. Also use Agile estimation methods for estimating projects.
• Serve as Project Manager reporting status to an overall program manager while also serving as Scrum Master for the software development team.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
• 5 years of experience in IT project management. 3 years of Agile methodology experience
• Large scale production systems delivery experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Strong knowledge of Agile tools and can train others on using these tools, especially JIRA and AzureDevOps
• Demonstrated understanding of software engineering practices, continuous integration, GIT (or other versioning tool)
• Demonstrated effective organizational, planning, decision making, and time management skills with proven ability to motivate in a time constraint/deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
• Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to translate technology jargon into simple, understandable, business language when dealing with non-technical personnel
• Easy to work with. Must be a team player, humble professional, an inquisitive intellectual, but at the same time be pragmatic and good at realistic scoping
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
