Quadel is Hiring a Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator Near Newark, NJ

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Working knowledge & experience in federally subsidized housing program, HCV-Section 8.
  • Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, evaluating and overseeing programs designed to increase the economic self-sufficiency of low-income families to reduce their need for subsidized programs and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in economic self-sufficiency services working with low-income families and diverse populations
  • Must have good communication and math skills
  • Must know how to do rent calculations in connection with subsidies
  • Ability to work with families to find services
  • Associate's Degree in psychology, sociology, social services, human services, education or related field preferred
