Quadrant is Hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology Near Washington, DC
Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology MUST: 3 years of experience working in an ambulatory-private physician practice setting or med surge unit Experience working in the cardiology field and administering EKG's, Echo's and Stress Tests Telephone triage Processing and handling prescription refills Licensed as an Licensed Practical Nurse in the District of Columbia DUTIES: The duties of the Licensed Practical Nurse include but are not limited to the following: Train staff on pre-visit planning protocols Conduct telephone triage following a script Process prescriptions and refills Handle various cardiology clinical procedures including EKG's, Echos and Stress Tests Compile appointment notes and send to referring providers Tracks patient for value-based payments programs Train medical assistants Ensure service levels are met for Cardiology and handle related tasks Manage patient s for Clinical Trials Collaborate with management for improvement projects D etermine action plan s for cardiology patients Document phone calls EMR Manage prescription r efills Reviews patient 's medical records f or prescribed medication / histor ies Contact patient s to schedule appointment for refil ls Document and scan reports in Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
