- A Traffic Control Technician deploys and removes traffic control devices to protect the public and construction crews on the streets and highways.
- Traffic Control Technicians often work long and odd hours in a variety of weather conditions including rain and extreme heat or cold.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more multiple times per day.
- Agility to climb in & out of, and on & off of the flatbed truck multiple times a day.
- A good degree of stamina to remain alert and keep safe while ensuring the safety of motorists, construction workers, and themselves.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Team player.
- Positive attitude.
