Machine Designer

Essential Functions:

· Create electrical cabinet designs for machine orders, based on

standards and customer requirements where required.

· Provide support to customers and service technicians as it relates to electrical issues.

· Provide guidance on new designs and control and drive componentry

· Lead new equipment design and/or improvements to current product.

· Apply general oversight of electrical design and assembly personnel.

· Plan and implement electrical project assignments together with department management.

· Assist in estimating manpower requirements, plan and monitor work schedules to meet timely completion

. · Recommend changes in methods and design or equipment when necessary

Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field and 2 to 3 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Solid knowledge of electrical codes and related regulations.

· Design competence of electrical circuits by use of AutoCAD systems.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
