Environmental Technician / Environmental Scientist – Upstate New York

We are currently seeking a qualified mid-level Environmental Consultant with 5 /- years of relevant experience to join our team of environmental professionals. The qualified candidate must possess demonstrated experience in project coordination, hazardous materials investigation, and the ability to perform field work on project assignments throughout New York State.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding and interpretation of federal, state, and local regulatory policies and requirements related to hazardous materials sampling and monitoring.
• Ability to perform and manage field-based tasks including but not limited to multi-media sample collection, maintenance, documentation and logging in compliance with site-specific procedures and safety guidelines.
• Acute attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve inconsistencies.
• Self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities conducive to project-specific requirements of a dynamic professional work environment
• Flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource in collaboration with multiple departments to achieve business objectives with minimal supervision.

Preferred, Not Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in conducting Indoor Air Quality Assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports summarizing observations, research, findings, analytical data interpretation, conclusions, and recommendations.
