Job Description
Our client in the Monroe, MI area is seeking a Quality Control Analyst! This is a first shift Monday-Friday position with occasional overtime! Pay is anywhere between $22-$27/hour based on experience! This client specializes in custom plastics and is a leader in the industry! Details are:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record, monitor and report on final inspection nonconformances.
- Monitor and analyze process and historical data for customer complaint and in-house nonconformance investigations.
- Participate in Quality Planning Activities to determine the need for specialized measuring techniques and/or training.
- Initiate quality instructions to clarify measuring techniques for production when necessary.
- Work in tandem with Engineering, Production, and Operations to quickly investigate customer reports of nonconformances and assess in-house product.
- Log and inspect customer returned samples and product.
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced math skills
- Strong knowledge of word-processing, database and spreadsheet software
- Advanced knowledge of measurement techniques
- Advanced Statistical Process Control
- Requires general knowledge of statistical practices such as: control chart, pareto analyses, and histogram, etc
- Advanced blueprint reading
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of ISO9000
- At least 2 years of experience in the thermoplastic extrusion environment
