As an equipment technician you will perform a variety of specialized tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and optimization of equipment used in the semiconductor manufacturing process.

  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This includes tools like photolithography machines, etching systems, and wafer processing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, using a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Process Optimization: Work closely with process engineers to optimize equipment settings and parameters for improved efficiency, yield, and product quality.

•Support facility needs, Exhaust/AC issues

•Test equipment to ensure in good health

•Some knowledge with vacuum and generators

Equipment technicians with a semiconductor background often have a mix of mechanical, electrical, and computer skills, and they must be adept at working in a highly technical and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Automotive diagnostics and repair experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Familiarity with hydraulics, suspensions, and transmissions
- Ability to perform heavy equipment operation tasks
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
