Must Haves
- 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering assembly.
- 3 years of experience with data collection (preferably from Oscilloscopes) root cause analysis.
- Experience with cameras and optical systems, lighting systems, and audio systems.
- Device networking experience
Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To
- Providing the Capture systems troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for the Capture Systems during the capture process.
- Maintain and address component bugs and issues.
- Analyze frequent failures and make suggestions for how to solve thes issues.
- Create lasting solutions for frequent or recurring issues.
- Assembly support for system upgrades.
- Escalate any non-standard issues to the appropriate Facebook Technologies team using an internal issue reporting tool.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Setup and strike equipment for pilots.
- Collect data to verify component performance
- Communicating with Capture Techs. Additional responsibilities:
- Training new employees and leading team initiatives.
- Creating and updating documentation (training, processes etc.)
- Self-autonomy and project leadership.
- Experience in designing simple mechanical parts in CAD.
- Experience soldering through hole and surface mount parts.
