Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, with expertise in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming and utilization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our medical devices, contributing to the safety and efficacy of patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

2. Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection of medical device components.

3. Perform routine inspections and testing of medical devices to verify conformance to specifications.

4. Analyze inspection data and identify trends or anomalies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve manufacturing processes.

6. Conduct training sessions to educate team members on quality control procedures and CMM operation.

7. Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.

8. Stay updated on advancements in quality assurance techniques and technologies, integrating them into existing processes where applicable.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field OR relative experience.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMM programming.

3. Proficiency in CMM programming and operation, with experience using software such as PC-DMIS or similar.

4. Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 13485, FDA regulations) and their application in medical device manufacturing.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

6. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and accuracy.

8. Experience with statistical analysis and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
