Job Overview: Team Leaders train, coach, motivate and provide leadership for their entire team. They are responsible for building and maintaining a strong business relationship with all of their customers. Team Leaders set account-specific Sales and Marketing goals and work with their team members to achieve these goals. Through Impact Standards, the Team Leaders ultimate goal is to dominate in all accounts.

Specific Job Responsibilities :

Development of Account Reps

  • Set Individual Development Plan for each Sales Rep. Review plan with Account Rep and track results
  • When conducting Ride With, ensure proper development in the following areas at retail:
    • Knowledge of all store contacts and decisions makers
    • Knowledge of current standards and goals for the account including but not limited to, sales, distribution, shelf space, display coverage, display percentages, price points and promotions and product freshness policies
    • Knowledge of proper inventory management
    • Perfect order writing
    • Knowledge of competitive activity
    • Knowledge of all company processes and policies that pertain to the Sales Rep, merchandising and delivery positions
    • Knowledge of state liquor law guidelines
    • Knowledge of safety guidelines
    • Knowledge of current and future company focus areas such as Chain Account promotions, new brand rollout, etc.

Goal Setting

  • Setting individual annual and monthly account goals for sales, distribution, shelf space, display percentages, display coverage, targeted package displays and price promotions
    • (Examples: Annual KPI and Monthly P.F.P.)
  • Track and meet established account goals

Equity Agreement Standards

  • Schedule and conduct at a minimum the required number of Ride With days with team members
  • Complete all Ride With requirements in Mobility (Example: Time to Sell)
  • Schedule and meet any and all required secondary sales calls. Track secondary sales call in Mobility
  • Schedule and record Business Reviews as required

Other Responsibilities

  • Schedule Sales Rep’s daily sales route and call frequency
  • Communicate daily either face to face or at a minimum by phone with each team member
  • Develop and maintain a professional business relationship with all customers. Handle customer opportunities / concerns
  • Provide necessary sales and merchandising tools to team members
  • Report all competitive activity to Department and Sales Manager
  • Report any pertinent customer information to Department Manager
  • Complete agreed upon Individual Development Plan

Job Standards:

  • Adhere to all Company and State Liquor Law Guidelines
  • Adhere to all State Driving Laws and Regulations
  • Physically able to handle all packages including draught beer
  • Attendance - No unexcused absences
  • Tardiness – Attend work and all scheduled meetings at designated time
  • Follow and meet all company processes and policies
  • Appearance – Adhere to company dress / appearance policy

Special Areas of Interest :

As a leader of the company, you must be aware of all aspects of the following company policies/programs:

  • Supplier and Quality Brands incentive programs
  • Supplier and Quality Brands marketing programs
  • PPG & POS programs
  • Quality Brands Safety programs
  • Quality Brands Training and Development programs

Special Considerations:

  • Must have 2 years of sales experience
  • Must be qualified to operate applicable Company vehicles
  • Capable of fulfilling non-normal work day hour Company requirements
  • Class A CDL license is preferred
  • Physically able to handle all Company products –25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly).Occasionally lift up to 160 lbs.
