Position Overview:

As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our hotel. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to see improvement, enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. While prior hospitality experience is not required, proven management experience is essential. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a people person, excels in high-stress situations, and aspires to advance to a General Manager position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management: Support and motivate the hotel staff to achieve high performance and exceed guest expectations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure guests receive exceptional service by addressing their needs promptly and professionally. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Operational Oversight: Assist in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. Monitor performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Staff Training & Development: Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing development opportunities for current staff. Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Financial Management: Contribute to financial tracking. Assist in managing expenses and optimizing revenue.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Address and resolve operational challenges and guest concerns effectively. Maintain a calm demeanor under pressure and make informed decisions.

• Management Experience: Proven experience in a management role with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance.
• Customer Service Skills: A passion for delivering exceptional service and a track record of creating positive guest experiences.
• People-Oriented: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and team members alike.
• High-Stress Resilience: Capable of handling high-pressure situations with poise and a problem-solving mindset.
• Aspiration for Growth: A desire to learn and grow within the hospitality industry with the goal of advancing to a General Manager position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
