We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation Estimator to join our team. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Qualify Invitations to Bid: Review and assess invitations to bid, ensuring that projects align with our expertise and resources.
• Construction Plan Analysis: Read and comprehensively understand construction plans, including architectural and engineering drawings.
• Material Takeoffs: Perform accurate material takeoffs from construction plans using takeoff software (e.g., On Center, Planswift, Construct Connect Takeoff, etc.).
• Detailed Takeoff Spreadsheets: Create detailed and organized takeoff spreadsheets to track quantities and measurements for insulation materials.
• Bid Management: Meet bid due dates by efficiently managing your workload and prioritizing tasks.
• Request for Information (RFI): Generate and send RFIs to clients or project stakeholders to clarify project details as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in mathematics for precise material calculations.
• Reliable high-speed internet access and transportation.
• Familiarity with and experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Proficiency in using construction takeoff software such as On Center, Planswift, Construct Connect Takeoff, etc.
• Efficient time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an insulation estimator.
• Knowledge of insulation products, including fiberglass, spray foam, mineral wool, and cellulose.
• Previous experience reading blueprints.
• Previous experience with multifamily estimating.

Working Conditions:

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Employment Type: Full-time, salaried position.
• Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience. Starting at $45,000.00 annually.
