Activity Aide/Housekeeper Opportunity at Quality Life Services
Quality Life Services - Sugarcreek in Worthington, PA is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to work as a Personal Care - Activity Aide/Housekeeper. This is a unique and fun position for someone who likes a variety of tasks and wants an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of adults in their community.
A high school diploma or GED is required
This position is daylight only (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
Every other weekend required
No major Holidays!
Here is what a day in the life of a Personal Care - Activity Aide/Housekeeper looks like:
- Empties attends and places in outside hopper.
- Cleans all small bathrooms (resident and public)
- Fill supplies in all bathrooms.
- Empties trash from all areas.
- Removes all bags of trash from building to hopper.
- Vacuums rooms and halls.
- Cleans dining areas after breakfast and lunch. Fills supplies where needed.
- Thorough cleaning of all rooms on good cleaning chart.
- Quick cleaning of all other rooms.
- Empty and dispose of attends at noon
- Clean and sanitize bed unit when needed.
- Do weekly cleaning (refer to chart).
- Clean all accidents everywhere (This takes priority over other duties)
- Make up requisitions on any repairs needing done.
- Attend all-in-service training.
- Take part of fire drills. Be aware of fire and disaster plan. Know where fire alarms and fire extinguishers are found.
- Follow all infection control procedures and follow all policies and procedures of department.
- Use good handwashing techniques.
