Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate deliveries on all projects with customer and internal team to ensure deliveries will be met to accommodate customer needs as best as possible while working with the plant team to make it happen.
- Communicate with customers prior to all deliveries to ensure customer personnel will be on site to receive material along with getting delivery contacts and locations to be placed onto all sales orders at time of first delivery
- Ensure any additional paperwork including certifications or other documents are sent with loads that would require such, ie. FDOT
- Schedule outside haulers to arrive in a timely manner to work with the plant schedule and meet the customer delivery requirements as best as possible
- Work with Accounting department as needed to assist with delivery ticket info and invoicing verification
- Coordinate all product coatings with internal or external coating applicators to ensure product are coated timely to achieve deliveries as needed
- Assist in managing forklift operator/s who are primarily responsible for loading trucks. Also assist in organizing and managing all aspects of the storage yard to ensure products are kept neat and organized and easily available to load as needed, working hand in hand with Plant Manager
- Generate all pick tickets and delivery tickets as needed to maintain shipping schedules.
- Track inventory levels of resale and plant consumables so that we do not run out of materials when needed
- Generate Purchase Orders to vendors for any material you will be ordering ensuring the cost is correct and estimated freight is included
- Obtain price checks on materials to ensure we are purchasing items at competitive pricing
- Send PO’s to vendors timely to eliminate expedited freight
- Receive materials in as they arrive, both by physically verifying the material for correctness, as well as quantity. This will include Coatings and Liners as well. Further, be sure to receive into Titan as needed
- Service all walk in customers as needed including setting up sales orders if necessary
- Attend weekly team conference calls and report out weekly progress updates
- Participate and assist in all aspects of safety program
- Help in performing plant inventory as needed
- Address customer concerns providing updates on the solution until the issue is resolved.
- Work in fast paced environment.
