Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:

• Schedules and review all Housekeeping personnel on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, to ensure proper coverage of all services with maximum quality customer service and maximum efficiency at all times;
• Daily approves time for payroll;
• Maintains budget and expenditures tracking to ensure department budgetary goals are being met, and that costs are controlled as efficiently as possible;
• Prepares budget reports for management when requested by Director of Hotel Operations;
• Handles any customer conflicts whey they arise, maintaining quality customer service at all times;
• Interviews, hires, trains and supervises all personnel involved with department;

• Direct the overall activities of Housekeeping (Casino, Hotel, and Public Area) to include inventory levels, record keeping and preparation of pertinent financial reports;
• Analyze, plan and coordinate plans for room cost in advance;
• Coordinate all matters related to receiving records, invoices, transfers, shortage and damage reports and purchase orders.
• Assigns duties to workers and schedules work hours, break periods, and any approved time off;
• Trains workers in Resort policies, department procedures, and job duties, and supervises employee performance of all duties;
• Prepares reports for management dealing with inventory or etc;
• Adheres to all regulatory, resort, departmental, casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure;
• Other duties may be assigned;
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervises all Hotel, Casino, and Public Area housekeepers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with IMG's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance reviews; addressing issues and resolving conflicts.

• High School diploma; six years job-related experience in luxury resort; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

• While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
