Quanta Manufacturing Nashville LLC is Hiring a Lead Quality Auditor - B6 - 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm - Theresa Near La Vergne, TN

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Quality Auditor Lead provides leadership and a point of escalation for all matters pertaining to quality on their assigned shift. The Quality Auditor Lead will be responsible for distributing resources where most needed in line with priorities established by the Sr. Manager Quality and Process Excellence. The Quality Auditor Lead is also a resource for all other functions on their assigned shift to clarify quality requirements and will also escalate to Engineer or Management as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In cooperation with Quality Engineers, managing work assignments for auditors to ensure customer and internal needs are met.
  • Resolving documentation issues relating to Quality functions, including but not limited to work instruction modification/clarification, “IPN” issues, etc.
  • Train all new Quality Auditor personnel on their shift and assist other departments with quality related training as required.
  • Assist in resolving production and quality issues as they arise.
  • Leading teams to resolve quality issues, including sorting, retesting, rework, etc.
  • Assisting in training operations in key areas that require special operator certifications.
  • Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Improve plant audit performance and work environment.
  • Fulfilling all duties of a Quality Auditor when not performing “Lead” functions.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts between the quality audit function and other functions on their assigned shift.
  • Other various duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Practiced documentation skills. Relevant experience within an ISO 9000 certified organization (engineering environment) is desirable.
  • Basic PC proficiency and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail (as the individual will be the primary resource for documentation flow and record maintenance within the Quality Engineering group).

BASE COMPENSATION

$18.25 Base Pay $2.00 Lead Pay $0.50 Shift Differential
