Quanta Manufacturing Nashville LLC is Hiring a Lead Warehouse Operator 2 - B6 - 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm - Ryan Near La Vergne, TN

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading warehouse staff and assisting warehouse team in the areas of shipping, receiving and inventory control. Pulls production material according to pick list and enters information into computer system. Participates in preparing warehouse for physical inventory, participates in physical count of inventory according to procedures. Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts. Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse(s), processes and stocks all releases, pulls orders according to established procedures. Identifies problem orders and interfaces with Buyer/Planner for resolution. Prepares and organizes orders for shipment according to vendor routing instructions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all duties outlined in the Warehouse Operator Level 1 job description.
  • Provides work assignments to warehouse personnel.
  • Control of physical inventory
  • Executing inventory transactions in SAP and QWMS systems
  • Schedule the receiving and delivery of raw materials/finished products in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate and timely departmental reports
  • Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards
  • Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods are properly stored and protected
  • Improve plant audit performance and work environment.
  • Instruct and train all warehouse personnel in proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
  • Manage receiving for all Inbound Materials /RMA materials.
  • Oversee and control all inbound receiving dock areas and personal.
  • Oversee the overall daily processes and flow of the receiving warehouse/Dock areas.
  • Track and expedite all inbound local and international shipments in order to maintain efficient supply.
  • Train new employees on processes and SAP transactions.
  • Work with internal departments to improve the overall satisfaction of products to achieving company goals
  • Setting forth associate goals and creating and administer employee reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a minimum 1-2 years lead experience in a warehouse setting and a minimum of 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience.
  • Must have ERP system experience
  • Must be proficient with Word & Excel
  • High school diploma required.
  • Have basic SAP Knowledge
  • Forklift Certified Preferred

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Knowledge of electronics is preferred.
  • Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Accurate counting skills.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.
