Role SummaryWe're searching for a Strategic Collaborations Specialist, Diagnostics Accounts to join our dynamic Diagnostics team. This role is integral to cultivating and expanding strategic relationships with top neurology centers, Integrated Diagnostic Networks, health systems, and Key Opinion Leaders The successful candidate will understand and be responsible for contributing to product strategy, supporting business development, and product life-cycle management, contextualized by market intelligence, all driven through a deep and direct understanding of customer needs. You will apply your leadership skills, cross-functional influence, and domain expertise to enable realization of the diagnostic product strategy for the company
What You’ll Do
  • Identify and prioritize strategic accounts for potential partnerships, focusing on high-impact opportunities
  • Responsible for driving customer product requirements, managing clinical utility and/or validation studies, and product commercialization success, including go-to-market launch plans for the US and global IVD markets, beta testing, pricing and positioning (including reimbursement strategies), and channel strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales leadership to align with the commercial strategy of our diagnostics portfolio
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account expansion in partnership with commercial leadership
  • Partnering with Quanterix and Lucent Marketing teams to develop and deliver product marketing training to global Marketing and Commercial teams
  • Support Quanterix IVD and IVDR product offerings and drive market readiness
  • Maintain robust understanding of IVD customer needs through regular, direct interaction with current and potential customers and thought leaders across all target segments and geographies
  • Represent Quanterix at scientific, medical, regulatory, business and other professional meetings
  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on partnership progress and revenue projections
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or other life science field such as immunology
  • 8 years of experience in the life sciences between scientific and commercial focuses, ideally in the diagnostics or related industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or PhD in the life sciences sector
  • Experience working in a company that commercializes both RUO and IVD products
  • Immunoassay experience
  • Experience in advanced technologies and product development, with domain expertise and deep market familiarity in proteomics technology, instrumentation, reagents and software in a regulated environment

  • Entrepreneurial drive to succeed – a high degree of self-motivation, with a proven track record for business expansion
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in marketing, product management, and/or strategy roles including leading market analysis, strategic planning, and new product development and commercialization required
  • Global perspective, with experience managing global product lifecycle management including launch and discontinuation; experience with global launch and or regional launch of regulated products
  • Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, with proven ability to be assertive while building productive cross-functional relationships; experience managing multiple stakeholders and resolving conflict within teams
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for precision health, and an authentic appreciation for the Quanterix mission with a desire to bring a collaborative spirit and strong relationship building, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic innovation-oriented work environment
  • Located in the Northeast US, with ability to regularly access Boston and Cambridge, MA
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, both domestically and internationally
