Quantum-Systems Inc is positioning itself to be a global leader in autonomous, AI powered aerial robotics. We have now stood up a wholly owned, and US operated business, Quantum-Systems Inc, in the United States. This business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America. As a result of this expansion, we have a Director of Finance opening for a well-qualified candidate. This position reports directly to the CEO of Quantum-Systems Inc and is a key position within the company.

The Director of Finance of Quantum-Systems Inc will provide financial leadership and operate as a business partner and trusted advisor. This role will have direct responsibility for all financial matters, including budgets/forecasts and performance of the business. Be hands-on and oversee all financial operations, from FP&A to driving working capital and cash flow performance to achieve budget commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead month-end close, ensuring revenue recognition and COGS have been properly recorded and review shared services transactions, such as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and other general accounting entries.
• Prepare the Company’s monthly financial reporting package which is distributed to the Board of Directors and investors.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and long-term business objectives.
• Collaborate with inter-company, international financial teams in regard to overall financial goals
• Identify and analyze financial risks, establish risk management policies and procedures, and provide guidance to mitigate risks.
• Manage the company's cash flow and treasury functions, including banking relationships and cash management strategies.
• Establish and manage financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Program Managers, Engineering, Production, Contracts, and Purchasing) to provide end-to-end financial support.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required.
• 10 years of progressive finance-related experience.
• Experience with ERP and Financial Planning systems such as Oracle.
• Knowledge of financial analysis/reporting, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), FAR/DFAR, proposal pricing, and applicable government billing systems (WAWF).
• Experienced reviewing contracts and preparing financial models.
• Successful experience working in Manufacturing environment – Aerospace.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• US Citizenship required.
• Background Check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
