Overview
Quartz is seeking an individual passionate about Lean Six Sigma and Agile and who is excited to accelerate the adoption of Lean and Agile methodologies throughout Quartz. This person will also facilitate Lean Six Sigma and Agile training to employees. - Starting salary range, based on skills and experience: $77,200 - $96,500 plus robust total rewards package
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison, teacher, and facilitator for lean-agile training and subject matter material
- Teach employees aspects of Lean and Agile and work with teams to mature their lean and agile mindset and practices
- Lean Six Sigma and Kanban coaching and training including identifying training needs and training delivery, ensuring the adoption of lean-agile ways of working standards and best practices. Identify and validate value gaps and opportunities for improvement through data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
- Create a compelling vision for improvement opportunities, gaining buy-in through effective presentation techniques, understanding of the audience, and value delivery expertise
- Facilitate meetings, summarize decisions and next steps, assist in communications, and enable the development of improvement implementation plans
- Participate in defining and reporting on lean-agile metrics to track transformation progress
- Act as a role model for Lean-Agile thinking and challenging the status quo
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 2 years of experience completing process improvement projects and workshops and demonstrating reduction in cycle/lead time, improvement in value flow, and improved quality results
- Either Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (Must be willing to attain Green Belt within 1 year of hire) or Agile certification (scrum, ICAgile, Kanban) or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Kanban is preferred
Applicants have the option to work 100% remote, hybrid or full-time from our Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI office. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
