As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced technical specialist to join our Operations team working with top-tier oil and gas operators to deploy and maintain Qube’s rapidly growing fleet of continuous methane emissions monitoring devices. The Field Technician is based in Texas (preference for the Midland area) requiring travel to customer sites in Texas and occasional travel throughout the continental United States.
Responsibilities:
· Install Qube’s continuous methane emissions monitoring devices at oil and gas and other industrial facilities.
· Identify, diagnose, and resolve device issues in the field, in conjunction with Qube’s Operations and Support teams.
Qualifications:
· Technical aptitude and desire to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
· Willingness and ability to manage own tasks and scheduling
· Oil and gas field experience, leak detection experience is an asset
· Experience in installation and maintenance of electronic devices
· Strong communication skills, including interest in being a point of contact for client operations personnel
· Strong problem solving and organizational skills, including ability to work independently, multi-task, and work within multiple job functions
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (strong preference for a truck)
· Current safety certifications, including PEC SafeLand and H2S
