CATERING SALES MANAGER
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for implementing and coordinating all sales and catering initiatives and events within the Food & Beverage department. A major component of this role is to develop, maintain, and solicit large party bookings for the Food & Beverage department. It is the responsibility of this role to foster positive working relationships with 3rd party clients and team members. To perform this job successfully, the Catering Sales Manager must be able to perform the essential functions of the position as outlined below, as well as have the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, and in accordance with all state, federal and Gaming laws/regulations.

- Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
- Assist the F&B Director with identifying and meeting sales & catering goals.
- Effectively manage all business accounts
- Cold call to assist with building the properties book of business
- Consults with clients to plan and determine event requirements, including number of guests and food & beverage menus.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef for offered menu items
- Work with the F&B Director with building quotes
- Manage all F&B catering queries, calendars, and invoices
- Coordinates and executes all purchases, deliveries, and all relevant activities to ensure successful execution of all F&B events.
- Analyze sales and catering data
- Create and execute catering contracts which may include scheduling and planning of other aspects of the event, including decorations, flowers, photographer, music, or entertainment.
- Collect all catering payments from clients
- Must represent the company professionally with guests and vendors
- Must be able to work with urgency and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training, education, and work experience.
- Must be friendly and courteous at all times.
- Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work tasks requested by the department leaders.
- Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
- Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party
- Ensure customer service standards are met and retained.
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years previous work experience in sales and catering, required
- Previous hospitality experience, preferred
- Able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written.
- Ability to extended hours, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a state Gaming License
