AP Team Lead

6 month assignment

$30-35/hour

3-4 days in office

ASAP (big system implementation starting in July and projected to go to beginning of 2025)

Switching from SAP to Infor M3

Experience:

• 5 years AP experience
• Team Lead experience would be “preferred, not required" – will be point of reference for about 2-3 people
• Implementation experience would be “preferred, not required"
• Someone with a team player attitude, motivated, ready to jump in with minimal instruction

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage monitor and assist with the posting of A/P transactions and preparation of A/P disbursement proposals

Perform month end requirements in a thorough and timely manner

Ensure the accuracy of ledger postings and the reconciliation of vendor accounts

Manage the movement of GR/IR transactions and ensure proper postings in a timely manner to the proper vendor account

Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS and Irca’s standards & best practices

Assist with management and maintaining of Expense reports and the Concur expenses system setup and monitoring

Assist with the implementation, training and roll-out of Infor M3

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or five years related accounts payable experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience and training

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Ability to maintain a high standard of quality with both internal accounting processes and the vendor’s accounting processes.

Must have high proficiency in recording and processing financial transactions relating to vendors.

Intermediate Computer skills– Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)

Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience with SAP, Sage or Infor M3 accounting and finance transactions preferred
