About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Food Service Worker to join our team part-time at Mahomet-Seymour School District. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to students and staff in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines will ensure that our students receive high-quality meals that meet their nutritional needs. In this role, you will work part-time hours with no weekend shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service or a related field
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Handler's Certification
• Experience working in a school or institutional setting
• Knowledge of special dietary needs and restrictions

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to students and staff according to established guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager
