ton DC, and Toronto. *Purpose* This position is responsible to lead and coordinate the work of QA/QC technicians responsible for inspecting, testing and analyzing the quality of our products and processes to include customer quality requirements. The QA/QC team lead is also responsible to manage and drive the process of continuous improvement within Quality department; focusing on increasing efficiency and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes. *What you will be doing* * Insure the continuous flow of production that meets planned Quality standards while identifying and escalating issues and improvements * Perform Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Action Plans * Utilize QA/QC systems and equipment to meet procedures, and standards * Meet Quality business expectations by producing acceptable parts, record scrap, document quality checks, identify non-conforming material and follow process to disposition\ Understand manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of products *What you will bring along* * Associate degree or equivalent experience * Window aluminum industry experience is a plus * 3 years of Quality and Manufacturing experience * Basic reading and interpretation of blueprints and/or specifications * Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment * Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) * Experience using various statistical and quality methodologies *Additional Information – We Take Care of Our People* * Competitive pay based on the work you do here and not your previous salary * Potential performance bonus * Health insurance is 100% covered for employee * Generous number of vacation days each year * Personal days * Discount programs * Education Assistance * Referral Bonus * Free on-site parking Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience level: * 3 years Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work setting: * In-person Work Location: In person
