Position: Financial Reporting Analyst Position OverviewThe Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and creation of an annual budget. Duties also include participation in data analysis, sales reporting, administration of data analytics software, and customer pricing. Primary Responsibilities
Perform monthly analysis of financials by site
Research and provide explanations for material variances to senior leadership team for review
Review weekly sales reports to evaluate margins outside of expected range
Responsible for administration and maintenance of data analytics software
Verify data integrity to evaluate operational efficiencies
Support management team with data analysis and KPIs
Assist in creation and implementation of an annual budget
Collaborate with finance and operations teams in customer pricing and other analyses
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required with accounting or finance preferred
2-4 years finance/analyst experience
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Familiarity with Microsoft Office - ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
