Essential Duties
・Comply with 6S and all other company policies, rules, and procedures at all times.
・Plans and Manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's
production capacity.
・Responsible for the analysis of and changes to sales releases and with respect to capacity planning and material
requirements.
・Effectively plans and maintains appropriate inventory levels through purchasing materials from venders and
scheduling of production.
・Schedules production machines to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's production
capacity.
・Manages company production cost and make dispositions as necessary.
・Establishes departmental goals and objectives.
・Analyzes process inefficiencies and develops solutions to enhance.
・Interfaces with production, purchasing and warehouse departments on material status/production planning issues.
・Provides management and leadership for the planning department associates.
・Establishes employee goals and conducts employee performance reviews.
Qualifications
・Bachelor's degree preferred, but will accept a high school diploma with a minimum of five years planning
experience
・Must possess solid analytical skills in anticipating production needs and capacities
・Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports
・Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
・Must be proficient with current computer software package such as Microsoft Office, IFS, inventory programs
and scheduling/planning and data management programs.
・Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
・Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time including walking/squatting/climbing
