Overview
The key goal of the Shift Leader at QuickChek is to ensure the smooth operation of a shift, complete assigned tasks, and demonstrate Total Customer Dedication (TCD).
The Shift Leader motivates and supports fellow Team Members in being productive while the store leadership is offsite. Shift Leaders are responsible for both Team Member and customer safety and for ensuring that QuickChek is always A Great Place to Work and A Great Place to Shop.
As the leader-in-charge, the individual is responsible for maintaining store standards, ensuring all safety and operating procedures are adhered to, and modeling a positive store culture for Team Members and customer while providing a great customer experience.
Shift Leaders must be able to delegate tasks, stay-up-to-date on policies and procedures, and follow proper steps for food preparation, vendor check-in, loss prevention, cash handling, timekeeping, payroll, and sanitation.
