Project Recovery is seeking an Addiction Counselor to enhance the accessibility of addiction treatment and support the development of comprehensive treatment plans. This role involves providing counseling services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives in addiction recovery.

Project Recovery, established to combat opioid and alcohol addiction, is a rapidly growing treatment center in South Dakota. We provide affordable, accessible care through telemedicine and in-person services. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical professionals, patient navigators, social workers, and administrative staff.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide addiction counseling services; including treatment needs assessments and individual and group addiction counseling.
  • Provide treatment needs assessments 
  • Individual and group addiction counseling
  • Must hold a valid certification or license in good standing in the state(s) applying to
  • At least two years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, listening skills
  • Ideal candidate with have superior organization and time management skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Empathy and compassion for our patients
  • Report on community sentiment and provide feedback to relevant teams.
  • Provide general administrative support to staff as requested. 

Experience

  • Experience with addition counseling in a clinical setting
