This position is supporting the Nurse Coordinator of the vaccine clinic with vaccines and immunizations for our patients at Family Health Center of Worcester.The RN/LPN will provides direct and indirect nursing care in a family practice setting. The RN/LPN will participate in all aspects of care to patients including triage, health maintenance teaching, and administration of vaccines/medication. The RN/LPN will also collaborate and communicate with other nursing professionals, medical assistants, and medical providers to ensure high quality patient care. The RN/LPN will provide support to medical providers, as needed in the management of prescriptions and controlled substance prescriptions. Educational Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing required; AS or BS in nursing preferred. Experience Required: Two years full time professional experience or part time equivalent Professional Licensure/Special Skills And Certification Required: Must be licensed as a RN by the Massachusetts State Board of Registration.
