Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Personal Injury Paralegal to join our litigaation team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the legal field and possess excellent organizational skills to support our clients in personal injury cases.
Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations related to personal injury claims
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information relevant to cases
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records using document management systems
- Prepare discovery documents and responses
- Schedule appointments, court dates, and depositions
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
- Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings when necessary
Skills:
- Proficient in legal writing and documentation
- Strong phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases
- Ability to proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Familiarity with litigating personal injury cases
- Excellent research skills to support case strategies
Spanish fluency is a plus!
