Quin is a fintech startup dedicated to building a platform to revolutionize the ways high-net-worth families meet and manage their financial lives. Our goal is to give them true ownership of their information, analyzing and coordinating many layers beyond those that interest incumbent providers.

Role Description:

This role is critical in building and shaping the initial versions of our product, working as part of a small product team. You will be the company's first technical contributor and therefore instrumental in making strategic decisions about our technology stack, architecture, and product features.

Quin is in its initial stages, so the goal is to spend 3-4 months moving from a prototype to MVP that can be used to raise Seed funding from PCs and angel investors. Until that goal is achieved, this is an equity-only opportunity.

This role offers the potential for growth into the Head of Engineering and CTO roles, depending on skills, interest, and the success of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement front-end and back-end solutions.
• Collaborate with the founder to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Set up the initial infrastructure to support a scalable product.
• Lead the planning, coding, testing, and deployment of new features and functionalities.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Understand and implement security and data protection.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve our platform continuously.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role with a portfolio of success.
• A strong interest, but not necessarily background, in financial services and fintech, along with a desire to change the way consumers interact with them.
• Proven ability to successfully collaborate and cooperate with members of a team, placing customer and platform outcomes first.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in an evolving startup environment.
