Candidates will meet the following basic criteria:

• You meet the EEC OST Program Administrator and OST Site Coordinator Requirements. • You have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred). Those with a Social Work degree are encouraged to apply.
• You are at least 21 years of age.

• You are skilled in working with parent/guardians to address concerns.
• You have experience developing and coordinating individual behavior plans and facilitating family and school partnerships to best serve the child.
• You have the ability and experience to guide, train, and manage Social Emotional Learning Specialists to work with children with diagnosed special needs and/or behavior challenges.
• You are highly dependable with a strong, proven, professional demeanor.
• You have attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• You can identify and manage priorities and can coach others to do so.
• You can maintain flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
• You apply discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information and are willing to serve as a mandated reporter.
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in navigating the Internet.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You provide excellent customer service.
• You are flexible, with reliable transportation to travel within Quincy, MA.

This is a full-time year-round position at 40 hours per week.

The Program Director works as part of a three-person team, who together oversee all program policies, procedures, activities, and staff in accordance with the EEC regulations for School Age Child Care and Group Child Care.
