Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. The Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician performs routine tests in the medical laboratory to provide data for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Works alongside a team of healthcare professionals, utilizing technical skills and attention to detail to provide accurate and reliable test results.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is 11:30 am - 7:30 pm/close. No holidays or weekends required.

The ideal candidate will have an educational background in medical technology. Be detail oriented; possess excellent analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills. Adaptable to changes in departmental needs and displays a strong work ethic. Technically prurient with lab equipment and computer systems.

A bachelors degree and clinical training from an approved school of Medical Technology required, OR an associates degree and a graduate of an accredited MLT program required. ASCP certification required. One year of experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
